Eman Wajed is a Buffalo-raised filmmaker, director, and cinematographer whose work sits at the intersection of culture, community, and cinematic storytelling. In just his first year behind the camera, he has quickly established a distinct visual voice, rooted in authenticity, movement, and emotional intention. Capturing stories that feel both intimate and elevated.

Drawing inspiration from fashion, music, and street culture, Eman’s work prioritizes mood and perspective over spectacle, often blending documentary sensibility with narrative pacing. His approach is driven by curiosity and connection: creating in spaces once unfamiliar, collaborating with artists and organizations, and using the camera as a tool for exploration and growth.

Beyond filmmaking, Eman is a co-founder and Director of Marketing for Buffalo Fashion Runway, helping shape platforms that amplify local creatives and culture. He is currently part of the creative collective at Legacy House Studios, where he continues to refine his craft through collaboration and experimentation.

Eman’s work reflects a simple belief: follow what calls you, create with purpose, and let the story lead.
